This summer has reminded me from God's beautiful creations. Hot sunny days with thousands of colours in nature, in forests, lakes, flowers and even we Finnish people wear colorful clothes at summer time :-). What a great Creator we have!
What God has been speaking and teaching to me this summer? Shortly I would say, surrender!!! It's much easier to let God work in your life, than trying to solve your challenges with your own wisdom, which is so small compared to our Creator, who has created and knows everything. It's so tiring to walk in your own ways. It's just much easier to surrender and let Him guide your way. God has opened me more understanding for Matthew 11:28-29 through my own experience.
'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will
find rest for your souls.'
'Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, be prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your
minds in Christ Jesus.'
God opened me a door this summer for a job I really love, to help people, who really need help in their lives. I was just blind and didn't see how tiredness came to my life, because job took the first place in my life and was even more important than God. I think God didn't like it, because I was so exhausted, that I had to stop. So, as I said, God has His ways to make us humble and to take time for Him. Now there is a balance again in my life. God is number one, but I also have time to serve Him in my job and time to meet and contact my friends and family. What a great teacher we have!
Last time on my mission trip in Curacao ,when praying, my friend told me, that this is a year for me to jump into unknown, like jumping into a cave without seeing the bottom... I think it's really happening. God is teaching me to trust in Him in everything and to understand His unconditional love. He will not let us fall, but carries us in every situation of our lives. What a loving Father we have!
Love and hugs!
